The jazz group “Dhyana Jazz Project” formed at the end of 2004 by professional musicians have come together for this project : Danilo Gallo (double-bass) ; Nagual (sax) ; Aljosa Jeric (drums) ; Nicola Cristante (guitars) ; Ivan Tibolla (piano) , all on the jazz scene for years in northestern Italy . All group members have distinguished careers , playing with musicians of international fame , as well as taking part individually in various events , both jazz and other genres.


Dhyana Jazz Project’s music comes from composition done in symbiosis by the two authors , Nagual and Nicola Cristante , over the past two years , the resulting style is original modern jazz , far from the clichès of mainstream classic language or risky avantguard experiments..

The cd “QUINTESSENZE” wich will be coming out shortly , includes many elements that can give an idea of the musical vision of the group , refusing pre-defined labels , open to “contaminations” from every type of music , so that it will be enjoyable at all levels
